Most of us ignore domestic violence because we think it's none of our business. Violent behaviour can cause long-term consequences - even the loss of life. In patriarchal and misogynistic societies the law does not support women. But if we see women's silence in the face of violence in liberal, democratic societies, don't doubt that they have been threatened and abused. According to the objective experiences in my exhibitions and via direct communication with visitors through my artistic concepts I saw the same reactions from many people who could not bear to hear the sounds of violence in my audiovisual depiction. In patriarchal societies women have to tolerate and adapt. But each of us can be someone's saviour by choosing the right way and raising awareness about an individual’s rights.‏ This would be the true duty of humanity and citizenship.‏ This would not be interference.
